  • Does It Really Happen?

    There is this post about things a guy would do for a girl. My thoughts will follow after you read this

    Every girl dreams that one day she will find a guy that does these Things for her. even the smallest action can have the BIGGEST impact in someones life.

    • give her one of your t-shirts to sleep in.
    • leave her cute text notes.
    • kiss her in front of your friends.
    • tell her she looks beautiful.
    • look into her eyes when you talk to her.
    • let her mess with your hair.
    • touch her hair.
    • just walk around with her.
    • FORGIVE her for her MISTAKES.
    • look at her like she's the only girl you see.
    • tickle her even when she says stop.
    • hold her hand when you're around your friends.
    • when she starts swearing at you, tell her you love her.
    • let her fall asleep in your arms.
    • get her mad, then kiss her.
    • stay on the phone with her even if shes not saying anything
    • tease her and let her tease you back.
    • stay up all night with her when she's sick.
    • watch her favorite movie with her.
    • give her the world.
    • let her wear your clothes.
    • when she's sad, hang out with her.
    • let her know she's important.
    • kiss her in the pouring rain.
    • when you fall in love with her, tell her.
    • and when you tell her, love her like you've never loved someone before.

    I was reading this and wondering to myself..."does this stuff really happen? Or do I happen to find the most romantically deprived men around. I mean most guys will let you wear their t shirt. Most of them tease you and at least let you tease them every now and then... I just wonder if all the rest of that was true.  I have spent most of my life being romantically deprived and I just wonder if this new guy... the guy who lives so far away and yet I long to touch him... is any more romantic?  Maybe I'm just jaded and I hope that he gives me a new lease on romance and love.

    It does! I know! Steven does all of this for me. Except for the phone part because neither of us can stand phones. But all of it, every single day. My ex did very few of these things and that's probably why we didn't work out. It doesn't seem like such a big list to me. And not very complicated. It's cheesy but for me it rings true. For girls, if your man does all of the things on this list, then you've got it practically made, don't ever undervalue him. Guys, this list is so simple isn't it? It goes such a long way though. It doesn't require you to be perfect, just be you and be able to do this too. =) I really like this post. 

    As for your relationship. Don't set boundaries, just love and things meant to be, will be. =)

    yep ... they happen. relationships take a lot of work but .... when you learn the tricks of the trade ... things like these do happen!

    I agree with itiscomplicated's comment. It does and can happen. As a guy, I can say I can check off a few of those things on the list. Some items aren't even on the list but your list gives the idea. It isn't that difficult for some men to do. Some just need to learn. Heck, I still have more to learn!

    yeah it happens, but many girls think every guy is going to do that, and so they leave the one guy that does. Ive been there, so i'm telling you from experience
